The “One Spot Mine” was thought to be worthless when an inexperienced young immigrant miner decided to stake his claim. To the surprise of the veteran miners around him, he struck gold. Enough gold to turn the One Spot Mine into one of the richest in the county.
The spirit of the young miner’s good fortune has carried on with Claimstake Brewing–a brewery likewise founded on audaciousness by the intrepid duo of Mike and Brian , “garage brewers” who hit the motherlode with their tasty, unique brews, combining surprising flavors into crowd-pleasing favorites.
